RESOLUTION NO. 96-127
RESOLUTION RENAMING THAT PORTION OF SAND
HILL STREET LYING NORTH OF S.R. 92 TO
"CUSHING LANE", WHICH STREET IS LOCATED
IN THE MARCO BEACH SUBDIVISION UNIT 3,
SECTION 16, TOWNSHIP 52 SOUTH, RANGE 26
EAST, COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the Board of County commissioners is authorized pursuant
to authority of Chapter 336.05, Florida Statutes, to name or rename
streets and roads, except for certain state roads; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has been requested to
confirm the renaming of that portion of Sand Hill Street lying north of
S.R. 92 to CUshing Lane. This street is located in section 16,
Township 52 South, Range 26 East, Collier County, Florida, Marco Beach
Subdivision Unit 3, according to the plat thereof, recorded in Plat
Book 6, Pages 17-24, of the Official Records of Collier County,
Florida;
WHEREAS, there appears to be no street in Collier County with this
name or any similar sounding name; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for identification purposes to confirm
the name of this street,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA:
The name of this street lying north of S.R. 92 is hereby changed
from Sand Hill Street and confirmed as CUshing Lane.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be recorded in the
Public Records of Collier County, Florida, and noted upon the maps of
the street and zoning atlases of Collier County, and notations made on
the referenced Plat.
