RESOLUTION NO. 96-125

A RESOLUTION APPOINTING LAURA RUPF
BURKE TO THE HISTORICAL/ARCHAEOLOGICAL
PRESERVATION BOARD.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 91-70 created the
Historical/Archaeological Preservation Board and provides that the
County Commission shall appoint seven (7) members to the
Historical/Archaeoloqicul Preservation Board; and
WHEREAS, there is currently one (1) vacancy on this Board for
the category of history; and
WHEREAS, the Board of county Commissioners previously
provided public notice soliciting applications from interested
parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Laura RUpp Burke
meets the prerequisites for appointment and is hereby appointed to
the Historical/ArChaeological Preservation Board to fill the
category of history for the remainder of the vacant term, said
term expiring October 1, 1997.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority
vote.
