Resolution 1996-122 MAR - 5 1996 RESOLUTION NO. 96-~2 ~ RESOLUTION ~DOPTING THB 1995-96 PAY PLAN PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF COLLIER COUNTY OROIN~CB NO. 83-7; ~ PROVIDING ~ EFFECTIVB D~TB OF ~PRIL 1. 199'. WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 83-7 provides that the Board of County commissioners shall adopt Personnel Rules and Regulations which may be amended pursuant to adequate public notice to all interested parties of subsequent additions or changes to said Pereonnel Rules and Regulations by submitting a Resolution to the Board of County Commissioners; and WHEREAS, Collier County Resolution No. 93-416 adopted the current Collier county Personnel Rules and Regulations and provides that amendments to the Pay Plan shall be considered by the Human Resources Director in conjunction with studies indicating revisions to the Classification and Pay Plan, adjustments in internal equity or external competitiveness or ~hen other pertinent economic considerations warrant such action; and WHEREAS, amendments to the Personnel Rules and Regulations which include the Pay Plan must be recommended to the Board of county commissioners and approved by the Board of County commissioners through adoption of a Resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEO BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: 1) The 1995-96 Pay Plan attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A" is hereby approved and adopted as part of the Collier County Personnel Rules and Regulations. 2) The Pay Plan contained in Resolution No. 94-720 and the approval of any subsequent pay plans are hereby superseded in their entirety.
