Resolution 1996-070 RESOLUTION NO. '96- 70 16Al A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIOlffiRS PROVIDING FOR ASSESSMENT OF LIEN, FOR THE COST OF THE ABATEMENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH ORDINANCE 91-47. WHEREAS, as provided in Ordinance 91-47, the direct costs of abatement of certain nuisances, including prescribed administrative cost incurred by the County, shall be assessed against such property; and WHEREAS, the cost thereof to the County as to each parcel shall be calculate1 and reported to the Board of County Commissioners, together with a description of said parcel; and WHEREAS, such assessment shall be a legal, valid and binding obligation upon the property against which made until paid; and WHEREAS, the assessment shall become due and payable thirty (30) days after the mailing of Notice of Assessment after which interest shall accrue at a rate of twelve percent (12.0\) per annum on any unpaid portion thereof. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY CO~1ISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the property described as follows, and having been abated of a public nuisance after due and proper notice thereof to the owner of said property, is hereby assessed the following costs of such abatement, to wit: NAME: LEGAL DESCRIPTION: COST: II N II Ventures 4930 12th Ave SW Naples, FL 33999 Lot 4, Block 226, GOLDEN GATE, $340.00 Unit No. 6 according to the Plat thereof as recorded in Plat BOCK 5, Pages 124 through 134, of the r'ililic Recorda of Collier County, FloIida. RXYlmENCE: 50515-026 136325040007 The Clerk of the Board shall mail a notice of assessment of lien to the owner or owners of the above described property, and if such owner fails to pay such assessment within thirty (30) days hereof, a certified copy of this Resolution shall be filed in the Office of the Clerk of Courts, in and for Collier County, Florida, to constitute a lien a~ainst' such property according to law, unless such direction is stayed by.this Board upon appeal of the assessment of the owner.
