RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF
COUNTY 'COMMISSIONERS TO EXECUTE A REVOCABLE TEMPORARY
LICENSE TO FLORIDA POWER & LIGHT COMPANY FOR ELECTRICAL
UTILITY FACILITIES IN SUGDEN REGIONAL PARK.
WHEREAS, Collier County is desirous of providing Florida
Power and Light Company with an easement for the construction,
operation and maintenance of overhead and underground eleotric
utility facilities (including wires, poles, guys, cables,
conduits and appurtenant equipment) to be installed from time to
time, with the right to reconstruct, improve, add to, enlarge,
change the voltage, as well as the size of, and remove such
facilities or any of them within an easement ten (10) feet in
width;
WHEREAS, Collier County is conveying a Temporary License to
the utility company since the exact location of the easement is
not known at this time; and
WHEREAS, upon completion of the survey of the property,
Sugden Regional Park, and the as-built location of the Florida
Power & Light facilities, a permanent utility facilities will be
conveyed to Florida Power & Light.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, F'LORIDA, that:
1. The Board of County Commissioners does hereby approve the
attached Revocable Temporary License to Florida Power and
Light Company.
2. The Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of Collier
County, Florida, is hereby authorized to execute the attached
Revocable Temporary License to Florida Power and Light Company.
3. The Board of County COll\lllissioners does hereby approve and
authorize its Chairman to execute a permanent Easement to
Florida Power & Light Company for the ten (10) foot strip of
land wherein the utility facilities are located.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority
vote.
