A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR INCREASING THE
EXISTING CHURCH SEATING CAPACITY FROM 150 TO
300 SEATS; PROVIDING SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSROOMS
AND A FELLOWSHIP HALL; AND INCREASING THE
TOTAL BUILDING SIZE FROM 4,300 SQ. fT. TO
23,000 SQ. FT., IN THE "E" ESTATES ZONInG
DISTRICT PURSUANT TO SECTION 2.2.3.3.1 OF TIlE
COLLIER COUNTY LAND DEVELOPMENT coot FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED IH SECTION 17, TO~SHIP 49
SOUTH, RANGE 26 EAST, COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State ot Florjda in Chapter
67-1246, Laws of Florida, and Chapter 125. Florida Statutes, has
conferred on Collier County the power to establish, coordinate and
enforce zoning and such business regulations as are necessary for the
protection of the public; and
WHEREAS, the County pursuant thereto has adopted a Land
Developmp-nt Code (Ordinance No. 91-102) which includes a Comprehensive
Zoning Ordinance e~tablishing regulations tor the toning of particular
geographic divisions or the County, among which ie the granting of
Conditional Uses; and
WHEREAS, the Collier County Planning Commission, being tLe duly
appointed and constituted planning board tor the area hereby affected,
has held a public hearing after notice as in said regulations made and
provided, and has considered the advisability of Conditional Use
2.2.3.3.1 in an "E" Estates zone in order to: incr~ase the eXisting
church seating capacity from 150 to 300 seats; provide Sunday SChool
classrooms and a fellowship hall; and increase the total building size
tram 4,30U sq. ft. to 23,000 sq. ft. on the property hereinafter
described, and has found as a matter of fact (ExhH1it "All) that
satisfactory provision and arrangement have been m~de concerning all
applicablo matters required by said regulations an~ in accordance with
Subsection 2.7.4.4 of the Land Development Code fOl the Collier County
Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, all interested parties have been qivpn opportunity to be
heard by this Board in a public meeting assembled ~nd the Board having
considered all matters presented.
