RESOLUTION NO. 97- 148
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COtTh-rY CO/'MISSIONERS
PROVIDING FOR ASSESSMENT OF LIEN, FOR 'I HE COST OF
THE ABATEMENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCE, IN fCCORDANCE
WITH ORDINANCE 91-47.
WHEREAS, a9 provided in Ordinance 91-47, the direct COBts of
ab;ltement of certain nuisances, including prescril ed administrative
COI~t incurred by the County I shall be assessed agi'lost such property j
and
WHEREAS, the coet thereof to the County as tl' each parcel shall be
ca) culated and reported to the Board of County Cor"missioners, together
with a description of said parcel; and
WHEREAS, such assessment shall be a legal, VI'lid iind binding
ob] igation upon the property against which made wltil paid; and
WHEREAS, the assessment shall become due and payable thirty (30)
jars after the mailing of Notice of Assessment afl er which int-erest
shell accrue at a rate of twelve percent (12.0\) Jer annum on any
un,'-3id portion thereof.
