RESOLUTION NO. 97-76
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, SUPPORTING THE
JUVENILE ASSESSMENT CENTER OF COLLIER COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners recognizes the
need for a Juvenil. Assess.ent C.nter in Collier county; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County commission.rs has .nact.d
Collier County Ordinance No. 97-11 to provide funding for the
Juv.nile Assess.ent Center and suspension Program pursuant to the
provi.ions of Chapter 96-382, Laws of Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
The Board of county Commi.sioner. .upports the Collier county
Juvenile A..e.sment Center of Collier county to provide
appropriate programs and .ervices to prevent children from
becoming at risk and to intervene with children already involved
in the juvenile justice .y.tem.
The Board of County commi..ioner. al.o .upport. the Collier
county Sheriff and the Collier county Juvenile Juetice Council in
developing the Juvenile A.......nt Center.
Thi. Resolution adopted this 11th day of F.bruary, 1997,
