RESOLUTION NO. 97-46
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AND REAPPOINTING
MEMBERS TO THE LmRARY ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS. Collier County Ordinance No. 88-71 confirmed the crc.uion of the Library
Advisory Board and provides that the Board shall consist offive (5) members; and
WHEREAS, the terma ofthrcc (3) members, representing CommiJaion District Nos. 2,4, and
5, expired creating 3 vacancies on this Board; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Conunissioncrs prcvioualy provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. Martha Gordon, representing Conunission District No.5, is hereby appointed to the
Library Advisory Board for a folD' (4) year term, said term to expire on December 31,2000.
2. Doris J. Lewis, rcprcsenting CommiJaion District No.4, is hereby appointed to the
Library Advisory Board for a four (4) year term, said term to expire on December 31,2000.
3. Jaculyn K. Dering, representing CommiJaion District No.2, is hereby reappointed to the
Library Advisory Board for a four (4) year term, said term to expire on DeCember 3 I, 2000.
