A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY,
FLORIDA. AS EX-OFFICIO THE GOVERNING
BOARD OF THE COLLIER COUNTY WATER-
SEWER DISTRICf, PROVIDING FOR THE
TENTATIVE AWARD OF THE CONSTRUcnON
CONTRACf FOR THE SOUTH COUNTY
REGIONAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT
FACILITY PHASE I TO PROJECI'
INTEGRATION, INC., PURSUANT TO TIlE

PROGRAM, SUCH AWARD BEING TENTATIVE
UNTIL FINAL REGULATORY APPROVAL BY
THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECIlON;
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THE
CONSTRUcnON CONTRACf DOCUMENTS BY
THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY AS
THE ~X-OFFICIO GOVERNING BOARD OF THE
COLItIER COUNTY W A TER-SEWER DIsrRICf.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County,
Florida, as the Ex-Officio the Governing Board of Collier County Water-Sewer
District, (the uBoard"), wishes to utilize funds from the Florida State Revolving
Fund (USRF') Loan Program for the South Regional Wastewater Treatment
Facility Phase I improvements and upgrades and to tentatively award such
construction contra"t to Project Integration, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, on May 7, 1996, the Board approved a Wastewater System
201 Facilities Plan Update and authorized, by Resolution, the application for State
Revolving Loan Fund for the South Regional Wastewater Facility Phase I
improvements and upgrades; and
WHEREAS, on September 17, 1996, the Florida Department of
Environmental Protection (UFDEP") elevated this project to the fundable portion
of their project priority list; and
WHEREAS, on October 22, 1996, the Board approved a Resolution to
approve the Final Application to FDEP for the SRF loan; and

WHEREAS, on August 14, 1996, bids were received for this construction
project and reviewed by the Board's consulting engineering finn of Hole, Montes
& Associates, Inc. who, after reviewing all bids submitted, has recommended that
the project construction contract be awarded to Project Integration, Inc., Bid No.
96-2551, for the bid amount of S II ,510,000.00.
NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIIE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLmR COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS TIIE EX-OFFlCIO
TIIE GOVERNING BOARD OF TIIE COLLmR COUNTY WATER-SEWER
DISTRICT, that:
SECnON ONE: T_bot1~e Award Of Construction Contract.
The Board of County Commissioners of Collier County, Florida, as the Ex-
Officio the Governing Board of the Collier County Water-Sewer District, pursuant
to Bid No. 96-2551, ladatively awards the construction contract for the South
County Regional .wastewater Treatment Facility Phase I improvements and
upgrades to Project Integration, Inc. in the total contract amount of
$11,510,000.00, subject to final regulatory approval by the Florida Department of
Environmental Protection.
SECTION TWO:
Final Award or Construction Contract.
Such tentative award of the construction contract for the South County
Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility Phase I improvements and upgrades shall
be deemed final upon final regulatory approval by the Florida Department of
Environmental Protection.
SECTION THREE: Authorization or Construction Contracts.
The Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County,
Florida, as Ex-Officio the Governing Board of the Collier County Water-Sewer
District is authorized to execute the construction contract for the South County
Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility Project Phase I improvements and
upgrades.
