RfSOLUTION NO. 89- 171
RESOLUTION TO RESCIND RESOLUTIONS NUMBERS 85-116 AND 85-163
AlITHORIZING PAYMENT OF INDIGENT PATIEtJT HOSPITAL CARE
WHEREAS, the Board previously in Resolutions Numbers 85-116
and
85-)63
had pre5cribed a method of approving client
eligibility and pay~ent for indigent in-patient hospitalization;
and
~1ER~\S. the State of Florida enacted the Health Care
Responsibility Act of 1988, effective 1 January 1989, which said
Act mandated eligibility requirements and payments procedures
superseding local policies and proc~dures;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSION~~S OF COLLIER COUNTY, fLORIDA, that Resolution Number
85-116 and Resolution Number 85-163 be and are hereby rescinded
and will no longer be in effect.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second. and majority
favoring same.
