COLLI:;, COUNTY, FLORIDA SUPPORTING THE INCLUSION OF
SOUTlI',IEST FLORIDA INTO THE PH1\SE TWO PUNNING PROCESS

WHEREAS, Southwest Florida would greatly benefit from a
coordinated rail system; and
HlICl(E,\S. it has been indicated that Phase Two planning is
scheduled to commence in F'i 89-90: and
WHEREAS, any planning or feasibility study should include
Southwest Florida as a viable ~~tion.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE B01\RD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS THAT: Collier County, Florida supports the
inclunion of Southwest Florida in any planning for additional
portions of the Florida High speed Rail Program.
