A RESOLUTION CREATING THE SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT
AD HOC ADVISORY COMMITTEE, SE'rTING FORTH THE POWERS
AND DUTIES OF THE COMMITTZl>, AND APPOINTING MEMBERS
'l'O THE COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, on January 3, 1989, the Board of County Commissioners
of Collier County, Florida, adopted the Solid Waste Management
Reorganization Plan which provides for an Ad Hoc Advisory Committee I
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 86-41 it is
necessary that a resolution be adopted setting forth the purpose,
powero and duties of said ad hoc committee/ and
WHEREAS, on February 28, 1989 the Board of County commissioners
authorized the advertisement for reswmes for membership to the Solid
Waste Management Ad Hoc Advisory Committee.
NOW, THEREFOrJ:, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. The Solid Waste Management Ad Hoc AdvJsory Committee is
hereby created for a period of one (1) year, commencing April 4, 1989
and terminating April 3, 1990.
2. The purpose, powers and duties of the Solid Waste Management
Ad Hoc Advisory Committee shall be to review and provide the
Committee's comments to the Board of county Commissioners on a Solid

3. The Solid Waste Management Ad Hoc Advisory Committee shall
consist of seven (7) members.
4. The following members are hereby appointed to the Solid
Waste Management Ad Hoc Advisory committee:
Irving L. Berzon
Jon C. Staiger
Ellie Krier
W. Larry Keene
J. Edward Meers
