RESOLUTION NO. 89--M
MARCH 21, 1989
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE CREATION OF THE
PINE RIDGE INDUSTRIAL PARK MSTU AND ASSESSMENT
DISTRICT AND PROVIDING THAT THE ASSESSMENT
PROCEDURES SHALL BE LEVIED AND IMPOSED
PURSUANT TO COLLIER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 88-23
FOR THE PINE RIDGE INDUSTRIAL PARK MSTU AND
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier
County, Florida, adopted Ordinancp. ~". 81-94 on December 22, 1981
creating the Pine Ridge Industrial Park ~unicipal Services Taxing
and Benefit Unit; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commission,)rs on June 18, 1985
adopted Ordinance No. 85-32 which supplemented Ordinance No.
81-94 by providing for the construction of assessable
improvements, establishing assessments against benefitted
properties, providing for the issuance of assessment bonds and
establishing a method of collection of the special assessments I
and
WHEREAS, on August 27, 1985, the Board of County
Commissioners adopted Resolution No. 85-182 which created the
Pine Ridge Industrial Park Area Improvement Assessment District
for watermains, sanitary sewers, road and drainage improvements
to be constructed cr reconstructed and the cost of said
improvements be paid by a special assessment against the
benefitted properties I and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners on February 23,
1988 adopted Ordinance No. 88-23 which established the procedure
for the creation of municipal service benefit units and provides
for the levy and collection of special assessments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. The pine Ridge Industrial Park Area Improvement
Assessment District shall levy and impose the special assessments
pursuant to the assessment procedure contained in Collier county
Ordinance No. 88-23.
2. The assessment procedures contained in Ordinance No.
85-32 and Resolution No. 85-182 are hereby superseded.by the"
procedures provided in Ordinance No. 88-23.

3. Ordinance No. 81-94 which created the pine Ridge
Industrial Park Municipal Service Taxing and Benefit Unit is
hereby superseded as to the procedures for municipal service
taxing and benefit units contained in Ordinance No. 88-23.
4. The Board ratifies the creation and establishment of the
Pine Ridge Industrial Park Municipal Service Taxing and Benefit
Unit and the Pine Ridge Industrial Park Area Improvement
Assessment District.
5. The Staff is hereby authorized to pr~ceed with the
construction or reconstruction of assessable improvements in
accordance with the procedures outlined in Ordinance No. 88-23.
