RESOLUTION NO. 89-77
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING FRANK L. MEESKE :ro
THE MARCO ISLAND BEAUTIFICATION ADVISORY
COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 81-35 created the
Marco Island Beautification Municipal Service Taxing Unit, and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 88-28 confirmed the creation of the
Marco Island Beautification Advisory Committee and provides th~t
the members shall be appointed to the Committee by resolution,
and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Isabel Bilisoly has resig,led from the Marco
Island Beautification Advisory Committee credting a vacancy for
the "at large" seat on the Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously
provided public notice SOliciting applications from interested
parties to fill the vacancy; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners received a letter
from the Marco Island Beautification AdvisOI'Y Committee
recommending the appointment of Frank L. Meeske to fill the
vacancy created by Mrs. Bilisoly's resignation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOllRO OF COUNTY
CO~.ISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Mr. Frank L.
Meeske is hereby appointed to the "at large" position on the
Marco Island Beautification Advisory Committee to fill the
unexpired term of Isabel Bilisoly, said term expiring on March 1,
1993.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority
vote.
