RESOLUTION NO. 89-~4
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF
$220 FOR POINSETTIAS USED AS COUNTY CHRISTMAS
DECORATIONS
WHEREAS, collier County Ordinance No. 87-5 authorizes
holiday promotional expenditures to promote or engender good will
toward the County and to enhance the image of county government
within the community; and
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 87-~ establishes that
such expenditures are for valid and proper County purposes, and,
WHEREAS, SO poinsettias were purchased as Christmas
decorations and distributed throughout the County Government
Complex to enhance the image of county government.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOAllD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the expenditure of
$220 is hereby approved to be paid to Ace Wholesale Flowers for
the cost of providing SO poinsettias in foil wrappinq paper as
Christmas decorations.
