RESOLUTION NO. 89- ~~
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
PROVIDING FOR ASSESSMENT OF LIEN, FOR THE COST OF
THE ABATEMENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCE, IN ACCORDANCE
WITH ORDINANCE 85-33.
WHEREAS, as provided in Ordinance 85-33, the cost of
abatement of certain nuisances, including administrative
costs actually incurred by the County shall be assessed
against such property; and
WHEREAS, the cost thereof to the County ~s to each
parcel shall be calculated and reported to the Board of
County Commissioners, together with a description of said
parcel: and
WHEREAS, such assessment shall be legal, valid and
binding obligations upon the property against which made
until paid: and
WHEREAS, the assessment shall become due and payable
thirty (30) days after the mailing of legal notice of
assessment after which interest shall accrue ~t a rate of
twelve percent (12') per annum on any unpaid portion thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the property
described as follows, and having been abated of a public
nuisance after due and proper notice thereof to the owner of
said property, is hereby assessed the following costs of such
abatement, to wit:

The Clerk of the Board shall mail a notice of assessment
of lien to the owner or owners of the above described
property, and if such owner fails to pay such assessment
within thirty (30) days hereof, a certified copy of this
Resolution shall be filed in the Office of the Clerk of
Courts, in and for Collier County, Florida, to constitute a
lien against such property acco~ding to law, unless such
direction is stayed by this Boa~d upon appeal of the
assessment of the owner.
DONE, ORDERED AND ADOPTED this 7th dai' of March , 1989
after motion, second and majority vote.
