RESOLUTION NO. 89--5n-
A RESOLUTION ENACTED PURSUANT TO THE PROVISION
OF COLLIER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 83-7, WHICH
ESTABLISHED A SYSTEM OF PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION
FOR THE GOVERNMENT OF COLLIER COUN~Y, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 81-7 states that the
Board of County Commissioners shall adopt rule~ and regulations
which provide classification of all positions, based on duties,
authority, and responsibility of each position; with adequate
provision for reclassification of any position~ warranted by
changed circumstances of work; and
WHEREAS, Collier County Resolution no. lJ5-l93 ;;hich
adopted current Collier County Personnel Rules and RegUlations
provides in Section 8-4 that amendments to the Pay Plan shall be
considered by the Human Resources Director when chanqes of
responsibilities of work or classes, living costs, availability
of labor supply, prevailing rates of p~y, the County's financial
condition and POlicies, or other pertinent economic considerations
warrant such action. Said section further provides that the
County Manager may recommend to the Board of County Commissioners
amendments of the Pay Plan by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director recommends that new
pay titles of Pollution Control Director and Senior Graphics
TeChnician be established in the Pay Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. The present County Pay Plan as set forth in and adopted
by ReSOlution 88-215 is hereby amended to incol~orate the following
two (2) pay titles:

2. The class specification for Pollution Control Director
and Senior Graphics Technician attached hereto as Exhibit "A"
and incorporated herein, are hereby approved as part of the Collier
County Pay Plan.
3. The present County Pay Plan as set forth in and adopted
by Resolution 88-215 is hereby amended to delete the following pay
title:
