RESOLUTION NO. 89-~
RESOLUTION FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A FULL
SERVICE SATELLITE OFFICE ON MARCO ISLAND
WHEREAS, Marco Island is one of the fastest growing
communities in Collier CountYI and
WHEREAS. the Collier County Tax Collec':.or desires to
establish a Full Service Satellite Office on Marco Island,
consisting of approximately 1200 square feet o~ office space I and
WHEREAS, said Full Service Satellite Office will be open for
business on or about October 1, 1989, and will serve the public
from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Mcnday thrcugh Friday: and
WHEREAS, providing a Full Service Satellite Office that is
more accessible to the citizens of Marco Island thereby reducing
congestion and parking demands at the Governr.lent Complex and
reducing traffic on State Road 951.
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. The Board endorses the establishment of a Full Service
Satellite Office on Marco Island effective on or about October 1,
1989, consisting of approximately 1200 square feet of office
space, serving the citizens of Marco Island and Collier County
from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
2. The Board finds that such a Full Service Satellite
Office is in the best interest of the general public and
necessary to the performance of the duties and functions of the
Tax Collector's Office.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and m~jority
