Resolution 1989-043 FEBRUARY 21. 1888 RESOLUTION NO. 99-~ A RESOLUTION ENACTED PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF COLLIER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 93-7 WHICH ESTABLISHED A SYSTEM OF PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION FOR THE GOVERNMENT OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA; AMENDING THE PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS REGARDING STANDARDS OF CONDUCT, DISCIPLINARY POLICY AND COMMITMENT TO FAIR TREATMENT. WHEREAS, Collier county Ordinance No. 93-7 .tates that the Board of County commissioners shall adopt Rules and Regulations which may be amended pursuant to adequate public notice to all interested parties of subsequent additions or changes to said Rules and Regulations by submitting a Resolution to the Board of County commissioners for adoption: and WHEREAS, Collier County Resolution No. 95-193 which adopted the Collier County Personnel Rules and Regulations provides in Section 1-4 that amendments to the Personnel Rules ann Regulations as may be necessary or advisable for the effective administration of the personnel program shall be prepared and recommended to the Board of County commissioners, such amendments of the Personnel Rules and Regulations to be adopted by resolution; and WHEREAS, section 15, Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Measures, was amended by Resolution Number 96-62; and WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director recommends that sections 15 through 19, inclusive, entitled Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Measures, Grievance Procedure, Appeal Procedure and Civil Trial Commission, as amended by Resolution Number 86-62 be rescinded; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: 1. Sections 15 through 19, inclusive, entitled Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Measures, Grievance Procedure, Appeal Procedure and Civil Trial Commission, of the current Personnel Rules and Regulations are hereby superseded and rescinded.
