A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF
COUNTY, FLORIDA ACKNOWLEDGING
IMPROVEMENTS SCHEDULED FOR THE
IMMOKALEE, FLORIDA PURSUANT TO
PLAN
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, COLLIER
AND ENDORSING THE PROPOSED
IMMOKALEE AIRPORT LOCATED IN
THE IMMOKALEE AIRPORT MASTER
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners entered into
an agreement with the firm of Delta ~ssociates, Inc. to
provide a master plan for the Immokalee Airport for a twenty
(20) year period on November 5, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration gave its
consent to proceed with the Master Plan en May 26, 1986 and
simultaneously approved Collier County's eligibility for
federal funds; and
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration on May 12,
1988 informed Collier County that the Airport Layout Plan with
proposed improvements was approved as subm:tted; and
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration is currently
reviewing the narrative report of the Immokalce Airport Master
Plan but has not submitted its approval; and
WHEREAS, approval of the narrative
Immokalee Airport Master Plan is imminent.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS, COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA that:
The BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS hereby acknowledges and
endorses the proposed improvements scheduled for the Immokalee
Airport according to the Master Plan.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and roll
call vote as follows:
