1. The Board of county co"`sioners has,made and con-
sidered numerous studies concerning water supply systems in.
Collier County and having consiaoiled said studies and reports
and having further investigated t a facts hereby finds that
It is necessary to protec t a u lie health, safety and
welfare of the residents of the County and the County Water
Sewer District by the construction of a regional water system,
and in the constructionof such' system it is necessary to
require a site for the construction of a water treatment plant
in order to treat raw water for transmission and distribution
throughout the system.
2. Fee simple title to the lands described in Exhibit "AP
attached harato shall be acquired'by purchase or eminent domain
in order to provide a site for said water treatment plant.
3. The County Staff is hereby authorized and directed to
immediately acquire title to said lands by.purchase or condemna--
tion in accordance with'Chaptaii371and 74, Florida Statutes.
