RESOLUTION NO. 2007-355
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO REAPPOINT MEMBERS TO
THE PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 93-81, establishing the Parks and Recreation Advisory
Board, provides for the appointment of seven (7) members to this Board; and
WHEREAS, the terms of two members will expire creating vacancies in the category
of Urban Area Community Park District; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously proVided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board has provided the Board of
County Commissioners with its recommendations for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. Barbara F. Buehler, representing the Urban Area Community Park District, is
hereby reappointed to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board for a four-year term,
said term to expire on December 31, 2011.
2. John P. Ribes, representing the Urban Area Community Park District, is hereby
reappointed to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board for a four-year term, said term
to expire on December 31, 2011.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
