RESOLUTION NO. 2007-354
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA TO REAPPOINT AND CONFIRM
THE REAPPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO THE OCHOPEE FIRE
DISTRICT ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. No. 89-98 confirms the creation of the
Ochopee Fire District Advisory Board and provides that the advisory broad shall be
composed of five (5) members; and
WHEREAS, the terms of 3 members will expire creating vacancies on this Board; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Ochopee Fire District Advisory Board has provided the Board of
County Commissioners with its recommendations for appointment; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor of Everglades City has provided the Board of County
Commissioners with his recommendation for reappointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. Joseph L. Dillon, representing Port of the Islands, is hereby reappointed to the
Ochopee Fire District Advisory Board for a two year term, said term to expire on
December 31, 2009.
2. John L. Pennell, representing Plantation Island, is hereby reappointed to the
Ochopee Fire District Advisory Board for a two year term, said term to expire on
December 31, 2009.
3. McBeth Collins, representing Everglades City, is hereby confirmed for
reappointment to the OChopee Fire District Advisory Board for a two year term, said
term to expire on December 31, 2009.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and unanimous vote.
