Resolution 2024-065 RESOLUTION NO.24- 6 5 A RESOLUTION PURSUANT TO SECTION 129.06(2),FLORIDA STATUTES, TO AMEND THE BUDGET FOR THE 2023-24 FISCAL YEAR. WHEREAS,Section 129.06(2),Florida Statutes,provides that the Board of County Commissioners(hereinafter also referred to as"Board")at any time within a fiscal year may amend a budget for that year,and provides the procedures therefore;and WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County,Florida,has received copies of budget amendments which provide for but are not limited to: revenue from grants,donations or contributions,or insurance proceeds for a designated purpose;and WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County,Florida,has received copies of budget amendments where increased receipts for enterprise or proprietary funds received for a particular purpose may be appropriated and expended for that purpose. WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County,Florida,has received copies of budget amendments where reserve for future construction and improvements are appropriated for the purposes for which the reserve was made;and WHEREAS,the Board has determined that it is appropriate to amend the Budget for Fiscal Year 2023-24 by resolution pursuant to Section 129.06,Florida Statutes. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY,FLORIDA,that the budget amendments to the FY 2023-24 Budget described below are approved and hereby adopted and the FY 2023-24 Budget is so amended. BUDGET INCREASE INCREASE INCREASE AMENDMENT (DECREASE) (DECREASE) (DECREASE) NUMBER RECEIPT EXPENDITURE RESERVES EXPLANATION FOR APPROPRIATION 1835 24-279(3/26/24-16D8) $77,500.00 $77,500.00 To recognize the annual FY 24-25 Retired and Senior Volunteer Housing Grants Program Grant Award from the AmeriCorps Seniors to provide uninterrupted operation of Collier County's Retired and Senior Volunteer Program. 1841 24-299(4/9/24-16B1) $2,810,500.00 $2,810,500.00 To recognize grant funds needed to improve the stormwater drainage Growth Mgt Grants system and minimize flooding by replacing 15 stormwater outfalls in Golden Gate City. 4031 24-300(4/9/24-I 6B5) $621,763.00 $621,763.00 To recognize grant revenue for the purchase of a replacement fixed CATT Grant route transit bus for the rural service area. 4031 24-301(4/9/24-16B5) $61,484.00 $61,484.00 To recognize grant revenue for the purchase of a replacement support CATT Grant vehicle for the rural service area. 4031 24-302(4/9/24-16B5) $715,027.00 $715,027.00 To recognize grant revenue for the purchase of a replacement fixed CATT Grant route transit bus for the rural service area. 3041 24-305(4/9/24-16F8) $81,000.00 $81,000.00 To recognize and appropriate interest and other revenues to fund Pelican Bay Irr&Landscape Capital Commercial Paper debit services payments. The following budget amendment with an approval date of April 23rd,2024 is scheduled to be reviewed and approved or disapproved in today's meeting. If the item is not approved by the Board,the applicable budget amendment will not be processed. 4053 24-315(04/23/24-16F) $163,170.00 $163,170.00 To recognize funds needed to fund the EMS Core agreement. EMS Grant BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to spread this Resolution in full among the minutes of this meeting for permanent record in his office.
