A RESOLUTION BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, COLLIER
COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING ITS CI-HAIRMAN TO
EXECUTE A PUBLIC TRANSIT GRANT AGREEMENT 452749-1-84-02 FROM THE
FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR GRANT FUNDING IN
THE AMOUNT OF $491,530 FOR THE ADMINISTRATIVE, MANAGEMENT AND
OPERATIONAL EXPENSES OF PROVIDING PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
ALONG THE US41 CORRIDOR THROUGH THE TRANSIT CORRIDOR
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is willing to enter
into a Transit Corridor Development Program, Public Transportation Grant Agreement (the
"Agreement") with Collier County, wherein FDOT will reimburse Collier County up to the sum of
$491,530 (Four Hundred and Ninety-One Thousand and Five Hundred and Thirty Dollars) for the
administrative, management and operational expenses of providing public transportation along the
US41 Corridor (FPN 452749-1-84-02); and
WHEREAS, the Collier County Board of Commissioners finds that the Agreement is in
the public interest and benefits the citizens of Collier County.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. The Board approves and authorizes its Chairman to sign the Agreement pertaining to FPN
452749-1-84-02, as well as any required certifications and assurances related therein,
2. The Collier County Clerk is directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution along with the
Agreement for execution by FDOT.
3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon execution.
This Resolution Adopted after motion, second, and majority vote favoring same, this 23 day of
Apr 2024.
