RESOLUTION NO.2021 - 264
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING KRISTINA HEUSER AND
PAUL DEMARCO, AND APPOINTING JESSICA BERGEL AND DONNA
FIALA,TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 93-81 established the Parks and Recreation Advisory
Board to advise the Board of County Commissioners on matters pertaining to the acquisition,
development and programs involving County park facilities; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 93-81, as subsequently amended, provides that this Advisory Board shall
be composed of seven members,consisting of one member from the Immokalee Community Park District
and six members from the Naples and Urban Area Community Park District; and
WHEREAS, there is a vacant seat on this Advisory Board, and two additional seats expiring on
December 31,2021; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice soliciting
applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board has provided the Board of County
Commissioners with its recommendation for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that KRISTINA HEUSER and PAUL DEMARCO, representing
the Naples and Urban Area Community Park District, are each hereby reappointed to their seats on the
Parks and Recreation Advisory Board,to four-year terms expiring on December 31,2025; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that JESSICA BERGEL, representing the Naples and Urban
Area Community Park District, is hereby appointed to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board to fill the
remainder of a vacant term expiring on December 31,2022;and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that DONNA FIALA is hereby appointed as an alternate member
to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board to a four-year term expiring on December 31,2025.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED upon majority vote on the 14th day of December,2021.
