Resolution 2023-124RESOLUTION NO. 2023-1 2 4 A RESOLUTION BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE FILING AND EXECUTION OF A TRANSPORTATION DISADVANTAGED TRIP & EQUIPMENT GRANT AGREEMENT NO. G2K36 WITH THE FLORIDA COMMISSION FOR THE TRANSPORTATION DISADVANTAGED IN THE AMOUNT OF $744,198 AND AUTHORIZING ITS CHAIRMAN TO SIGN THE GRANT AGREEMENT AND RELATED DOCUMENTS. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County, Florida ("Board"), is eligible to receive a Transportation Disadvantaged Trip & Equipment Grant and to undertake a transportation disadvantaged service project as authorized by Florida Statutes section 427.0159and Florida Administrative Code Rule 41-2; and WHEREAS, the Board seeks to authorize the filing and execution of a Transportation Disadvantaged Trip & Equipment Grant Agreement ("Agreement") No. G2K36 with the Floirda Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged (FCTD) in the amount of $744,198 (with a total project cost of $826,886) and to authorize its Chairman to execute the Agreement; and WHEREAS, the FCTD requires a Board Resolution memorializing the Board's authorization to file and execute the Agreement. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners, Collier County, Florida, that : l . The BOARD has the authority to enter into the grant Agreement. 2. The Board authorizes its Chairman to, on its behalf, execute the grant Agreement, amendments, warranties, certifications and any other documents required in connection with the Agreement with the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged. 3. The BOARD' S Registered Agent in Florida is Jeffrey A. Klatzkow, County Attorney. The registered Agent's address is 3299 East Tamiami Trail, Ste 800, Naples, FL 34112. 4. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon s*nature by the Chairman.
