RESOLUTION OF THE COLLIER COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY
APPROVING ANI) AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE ATTACHED
AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AIRPORT IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM GRANT
AGREEMENT 3-12-0021-006-2021 WITH THE FEDERAL AVIATION
ADMINISTRATION
WHEREAS, the Collier County Airport Authority has the authority to enter into the attached
agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration to undertake projects as authorized by Chapter
332,Florida Statutes, and Section 14-60 of the Florida Administrative Code, and Ordinance 2004-03.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Collier County Airport Authority. Collier
County, Florida, that:
1. Amendment No. 1 to Airport Improvement Program (AIP) Grant Agreement 3-12-0021-
006-2021 for additional funding for the rehabilitation and widening of Runway 15/33 at
the Everglades Airpark, attached hereto, is hereby approved.
2. The Chairman of the Collier County Airport Authority, Rick L.oCastro, is authorized to
enter into, modify or terminate Amendment No. 1 to AIP Grant Agreement No. 3-12-0021-
006-2021 with the Federal Aviation Administration unless and until it may be specifically
rescinded.
3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of May 2023 after motion, second and majority vote in favor of
adoption.
