Resolution 2023-041 RESOLUTION NO. 2023 - 41
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROHIBITING THE CONNECTION OF
ROCK ROAD TO THE FUTURE VANDERBILT BEACH ROAD
EXTENSION.
WHEREAS, the residents along Rock Road have requested that this residential street not
connect to the future Vanderbilt Beach Road Extension; and
WHEREAS, there is no current intent or long term Transportation Plan by the County to
connect Rock Road to the future Vanderbilt Beach Road Extension; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds that it is in the best interest of the
safety and welfare of these citizens to prohibit any such connection now or in the future.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Rock Road is not to be connected to
the future Vanderbilt Beach Road Extension.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED upon majority vote on the 28th day of February, 2023.
