A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING FIVE MEMBERS TO
THE OCHOPEE FIRE DISTRICT ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 89-98 created the Ochopee Fire District
Advisory Board to advise the Board of County Commissioners (Board) on the budget and
operation of the Ochopee Fire Control District; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 89-98, as amended, states that this Advisory Board shall be
composed of five members and provides guidelines the Board may consider relating to its
composition; and
WHEREAS, all terms on this Advisory Board have expired, and public notice has been
provided soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Ochopee Fire District Advisory Board has provided the Board of County
Commissioners with its recommendations for reappointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that DON BRADKE and
GENEVIEVE O'CONNELL are each hereby reappointed to their seats on the Ochopee Fire
District Advisory Board, to two-year terms commencing on January 1, 2022 and expiring on
December 31, 2023; that ROBERT CRAIG and LARRY HOLLOWAY are each hereby
reappointed to two-year terms expiring on December 31, 2024; that TIMOTHY MOSHIER,
representing Everglades City, is hereby reappointed to a two-year term expiring on December
31, 2024; and that term limit restrictions are hereby waived for these reappointments.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED upon majority vote on the 10th day of January, 2023.
