RESOLUTION NO. 2007. 227
A RESOLUTION BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS,
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING, AND AUTHORIZING ITS
CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE, A LOCAL AGENCY PROGRAM ("LAP")
SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO AMEND THE LAP
AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT NO. 415566-1 LIGHTING/SIDEWALK-SR84
FROM US 41 TO AIRPORT-PULLING ROAD PREVIOUSLY ENTERED
INTO ON FEBRUARY 11, 2005, TO REFLECT REVISED AUDIT
LANGUAGE.
WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and Collier
County, Florida ("Collier County") previously entered into a LAP agreement on February 11,
2005, wherein FDOT agreed to reimburse Collier County the sum of $695,200.00, pertaining to a
project to install lighting and sidewalks along both sides of SR 84 (Davis Boulevard); and
WHEREAS, FDOT is seeking the execution of a Supplemental Agreement to amend that
LAP agreement to reflect current audit requirements for recipients of federal and state funds; and
WHEREAS, the Collier County Board of County Commissioners finds that this
amendment is proper and that it is in the public interest to enter into the LAP Supplemental
Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
I. The Board of County Commissioners approves, and authorizes its Chairman to sign, the
attached LAP Supplemental Agreement.
2. The Collier County Clerk will forward a certified copy of this Resolution to FDOT
along with the LAP Supplemental Agreement for execution by FDOT.
3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
