Resolution 2022-008 RESOLUTION NO. 2022 - 08 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING SUE LAW TO THE ANIMAL SERVICES ADVISORY BOARD. WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 2004-06 established the Animal Services Advisory Board to generate community involvement in order to aid the Collier County Domestic Animal Services Department; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2004-06 provides that this Advisory Board shall consist of seven members who represent the areas of expertise as set forth in the Ordinance; and WHEREAS, there is a vacant seat on this Advisory Board for an at-large member; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice soliciting applications from interested parties; and WHEREAS, the Animal Services Advisory Board has provided the Board of County Commissioners with its recommendation for appointment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that SUE LAW, as an at-large member, is hereby appointed to the Animal Services Advisory Board, to fill the remainder of a vacant term expiring on April 13, 2024.
