PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, Sante Plus Medical Centers were founded based on the principle that Family Medicine is
a clinical specialization and an academic, and scientific discipline. The health care
system, for most people, starts precisely with family medicine. It encompasses services
to all family members regardless of age, gender, or the type of problem a family
member is experiencing; and
WHEREAS, at Sante Plus Medical Centers, patients are like family, and the centers take great
pride in managing the patients' total health care. The practice provides understanding,
comfort, and guidance along with exemplary medical care to build lasting relationships.
Its dedicated staff adds new vitality to Family Medicine in Immokalee and Fort Myers;
and
WHEREAS, Sante Plus Medical Centers offer primary care medical services to patients with Florida
Blue insurance as well as private paying patients. As a Family Physician, Dr. Carl Balmir
is trained to handle patients ages 2+. Immigration exams, school physical exams, work-
place physicals, pre-op clearance for surgeries, well-woman exams, and yearly exams
are all done under one roof; and
WHEREAS, Sante Plus Medical Centers were established to provide access to quality and affordable
healthcare to Haitian children and families in Southwest Florida. The staff speaks
Kreyol, Spanish, and English to help patients navigate healthcare without worrying about
language barriers. This not only save lives, but helps patients clearly explain their health
concerns; and
WHEREAS, the public is invited to attend Sante Plus Medical Center's grand opening and ribbon
cutting ceremony at its Immokalee location on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 12:00
p.m., 1502 Lake Trafford Road, Immokalee, Florida. The grand opening will be followed
by refreshments, guided tours, meet the doctors, health screenings, gift bags, vendor
booths, a grand prize, and more; and
WHEREAS, Collier County wishes to congratulate Sante Plus Medical Center on the opening of its
medical centers;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it proclaimed by the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County, Florida,
that December 18, 2021, be designated as
THE SANTE PLUS MEDICAL CENTER DAY IN COLLIER COUNTY
DONE AND ORDERED THIS 14th Day of December 2021.
