The Public Transportation Grant Agreement ("Agreement") between the Florida Department of
Transportation ("Department") and Collier County Airport Authority ("Agency"), dated 1/28/2019, is scheduled
to expire on the 31 day of 12, 2021.
The Agency requests an Amendment of the Agreement, to extend the end date of the Agreement to the 30
day of 06, 2022, for additional time to complete the Project for the following reasons: The Collier County
Airport Authority kindly requests the expiration date for FM 433632-1-94-01 be extended from December 31,
2021 to June 30, 2022 as a result of ongoing complications with the procurement and delivery of various
materials and equipment. Due to material shortages nationwide,we have encountered long lead times on
materials and equipment, particularly security and information technology equipment. Numerous items
remain pending which are required and critical to the infrastructure of the security enhancements at the
Immokalee Regional Airport. We originally anticipated the backordered equipment would be delivered in late
September/early October; however, those dates have been further delayed with a current ETA of early
December. This revised timeframe would make project completion by December 31, 2021, highly unlikely. In
consideration of the already lengthy delay on various backordered items and accounting for the possibility of
expanded delays due to unforeseen circumstances,we are requesting a six-month extension to ensure
sufficient time to complete the installation and configuration of the security enhancements along with the
preparation of closeout documentation. .
The Department agrees to the requested extension of the Agreement. All of the terms and conditions of the
Agreement and any amendments thereto shall remain in full force and effect.IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have executed this Amendment on it'Q l "C2 1 (to be

RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, ACTING
AS THE COLLIER COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY, APPROVING AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE ATTACHED AMENDMENT NO.
2 AND ALL SUBSEQUENT AMENDMENTS TO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
GRANT AGREEMENT GOZ16 WITH THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION UPON BOARD APPROVAL
WHEREAS, the Collier County Airport Authority has the authority to enter into the attached
agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation to undertake projects as authorized by
Chapter 332, Florida Statutes, and Section 14-60 of the Florida Administrative Code, and Ordinance
2004-03.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Board of County Commissioners acting
as the Collier County Airport Authority, Collier County, Collier County, Florida, that:
1. Amendment No. 2 to Public Transportation Grant Agreement(PTGA)Number GOZ16 for
a time extension for security enhancements at the Immokalee Regional Airport, Financial
Management Number 433632-1-94-01, attached hereto, is hereby approved.
2. The Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners,acting as the Collier County Airport
Authority, is authorized to enter into, modify or terminate Amendment No. 2 to PTGA
Number GOZ16 with the Florida Department of Transportation unless and until it may be
specifically rescinded.
3. Upon Board approval, the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners acting as the
Collier County Airport Authority, is authorized to enter into, modify or terminate all
subsequent amendments to PTGA Number GOZ 16 with the Florida Department of
Transportation unless and until it may be specifically rescinded.
4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
ADOPTED this O23 day of I l µ 2021 after motion, second and majority vote in
favor of adoption.
