O RESOLUTION CREATING A PAVING ASSESSMENT DISTRICT FOR EAST i--

WHEREAS, it has been requested by petition from abutting property owners ',
to the Board of County Commissioners that paving improvements be made to East {;''
Hamilton. Road for approximately 2,500 lineal feet, said area being legally

• described as follows:
The East 11 of the West 1i of Section 17, Township 51 South, Range 27
East, lying North of U.S. 41 (S.R. 90)
and
That part of the NW .1 of Section 20, Township 51 South, Range 27 East,
lying North of U.S. Al (S.R. 90); and

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners on June S, 1979, received said t,

petition from at least 50X plus one (1) of the said property owners along East
Hamilton Road requesting that the road be constructed to County standardn and *)-:
thereby be eligible for future County maintenance; and ,;,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners on June 5, 1979, directeu the 1.

staff to prepare a preliminary feasibility report and cost estimates for future
presentation to the Board regarding the creation of a paving assessment district 4.r
!•. ,, and tentative assessment roll for these improvements to East Hamilton Road for 4+:`
approximately 2,500 lineal feet; and �''
WHEREAS, the County Engineer presented a report and assessment to the Board i ';
showing an estimated total cost of $88,131.25 with an approximate cost of $17.32
per assessable front foot for the henefitting property owners within the assess-

ment district for paving improvements for the subject streets; and
WHEREAS, the said improvements to be constructed consist of a roadway
approximately 2.500 lineal feet in length with a limerock base, asphaltic

wearing surface, driveway approaches and install new side drain pipes to proper 'i' f'

v' grades within a dedicated right-of-way; and

COLLIER COUNTY, that a paving assessment district for East Hamilton Road for
approximately 2,500 lineal feet is hereby created, as described above which
. shall be known as the "East Hamilton Road Paving Assessment District"; and
RE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the coot of paving be paid by s• pecial assessment under the provision of the Collier County iltdinane to.
