RESOLUTION NO. 2007-169
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY TO APPOINT FRANK HALAS TO THE
SOUTHWEST FLORIDA REGIONAL PLANNING COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, the Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council is a locally formed
regional planning agency composed of thirty-four members serving six counties; and
WHEREAS, local government Commission members are included in its membership;
and
WHEREAS, the current County Commissioner serving on this Council will vacate his
Commission seat upon the election of a new County Commissioner, which will create a
vacancy of a Collier County Commission member seat on the Southwest Florida
Regional Planning Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNlY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNlY, FLORIDA, that Commissioner Frank Halas is
hereby appointed to the Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
