A RESOLUTION OF THE COLLIER
COUNTY COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY HEREBY VOIDING A SITE
IMPROVEMENT GRANT FOR APPLICANT
JEFFREY LOWE AND DARLENE LOWE
WHICH WAS APPROVED APRIL 10, 2007,
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2002-38 was adopted by the County Commission on July 30,
2002, creating a Site Improvement Grant Program for the Bayshore Gateway Triangle
Redevelopment Area; and
WHEREAS, the Collier County Community Redevelopment Agency Board on April 10,
2007, approved a Site Improvement Grant submitted by applicants Jeffrey Lowe and Darlene
Lowe. The total project costs were estimated at $13,595.96 and the grant was approved for
$6,797.98 which is a 50% (fifty percent) match to an estimated amount for the improvements; and
WHEREAS, the applicants learned as a result of the permitting process that additional
improvements must be completed on their property to meet County requirements; and
WHEREAS, the additional improvements will result in a cost of $7,436.48 which exceeds
the amount requested in the first Site Improvement Grant; and
WHEREAS, the Site Improvement Grant approved on April 10, 2007, is hereby voided.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COLLIER COUNTY COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY that:
The Site Improvement Grant application by Site Improvement Grant is hereby voided.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and adoption.
