RESOLUTION NO. 87- 108
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FEES AND
CHARGES RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF
A CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCY; PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, County Ordinance No. 35-42 previously established
the annual fee for the issuance of a certificate of competency;
and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 85-42 has been amended by Ordinance
No. 87- 38 to delete the fees and charges in the ordinance and to
provide that the fees for applications for Certificates of
Competency, renewals, penalty fees, block examination fees, and
other applicable charges be established by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
SECTION ONE. Fees and Charges
1. The annual fees for the issuance of a Certificate of
Competency shall be as follows:
a. Contractor
1. Application Fee - $80.00
2. Renewal Fee - $80.00
b. Specialty Contractor
1. Application Fee - $65.00
2. Renewal Fee - $65.00
c. Journeyman
1. Application Fee - $15.00
2. Renewal Fee - $15.00
2. The annual fee for the issuance of an inactive r
Certificate of Competency shall be as follows:
a. Contractor - $80.00
b. Specialty Contractor - $65.00
c. Journeyman (Non Contractor) - $15.00
3. Penalty fees of ten percent (10%) will be assessed in
addition to the required fee if renewal is made after September
30th and before the following December 31st.
4. Block and Associates Examination Fee - $60.00

SECTION TWO. Effective Date
This Resolution shall become effective on the effective date
of Collier County Ordinance No. 87-38 .
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and roll call
vote as follows:

Commissioner Pistor Absent and not voting
