A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA,
RENAMING A STREET FROM THE LORDS WAY TO
HACIENDA LAKES PARKWAY, LOCATED
APPROXIMATELY 2,500 FEET NORTH OF
RATTLESNAKE HAMMOCK ROAD AND EAST OF
COLLIER BOULEVARD, IN SECTION 14, TOWNSHIP 50
SOUTH, RANGE 26 EAST, COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA.

WHEREAS, the legislature of the State of Florida by enacting § 336.05, Florida Statutes,
has conferred on all counties in Florida the power to name or rename streets and roads, except
for certain state roads; and
WHEREAS, Collier County pursuant thereto has adopted Collier County Ordinance
No. 07-62, as codified in Chapter 22, Article X, of the Collier County Code of Laws and
Ordinances, which establishes criteria and procedures to rename streets or roads; and
WHEREAS, the Collier County Board of County Commissioners (Board) has held a
public hearing after providing notice as required by said ordinance and has considered the
advisability of granting the request by Fred Drovdlic, AICP of Waldrop Engineering, P.A., on
behalf of Hacienda Lakes of Naples, LLC, Lords Way 30, LLC, 3805 TLW, LLC, and Lords
Way Apartments, LLC, to rename a street from The Lords Way to Hacienda Lakes Parkway.
This street is located in Section 14, Township 50 South, and Range 26 East, according to Collier
County Official Zoning Atlas Map Numbers 0614N and 0614S, with a portion existing within
Estilo Acres, according to the plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 65, Pages 69 through 71, of the
Official Records of Collier County, Florida, and further described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference; and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that all criteria set forth in Ordinance No. 07-62
has been met and specifically finds that there is no other street in incorporated or unincorporated
Collier County with this name or any similar sounding name as is being requested; and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that it is necessary for identification purposes to
confirm the name of this street.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
BE IT RESOLVED that effective this date, the name of the street described in the above
recitals is hereby changed from The Lords Way to Hacienda Lakes Parkway and is confirmed as
such.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be recorded in the Public Records of
Collier County, Florida, and noted upon the maps of the street and zoning atlases of Collier
County, and notations made on the referenced Plat.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second, and super majority vote of at least four
affirmative votes this 13thday of Aim 11 , 2021.
