Resolution. The meeting will commence at 9:00 A.M.. The title of the proposed Resolution is as follows:
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA,
RENAMING A STREET FROM THE LORDS WAY TO HACIENDA LAKES PARKWAY, LOCATED
APPROXIMATELY 2,500 FEET NORTH OF RATTLESNAKE HAMMOCK ROAD AND EAST OF COLLIER
BOULEVARD, IN SECTION 14, TOWNSHIP 50 SOUTH, RANGE 26 EAST, COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA.

parties are invited to attend and be heard.

inspection. All interested parties are invited to attend and be heard.
NOTE:All persons wishing to speak on any agenda item must register with the County manager
prior to presentation of the agenda item to be addressed. Individual speakers will be limited
to 3 minutes on any item. The selection of any individual to speak on behalf of an organization
or group is encouraged. If recognized by the Chairman, a spokesperson for a group or
organization may be allotted 10 minutes to speak on an item.
Persons wishing to have written or graphic materials included in the Board agenda packets
must submit said material a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the respective public hearing. In
any case,written materials intended to be considered by the Board shall be submitted to the
appropriate County staff a minimum of seven days prior to the public hearing.All materials used
in presentations before the Board will become a permanent part of the record.
As part of an ongoing initiative to promote social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic,
the public will have the opportunity to provide public comments remotely,as well as in person,
during this proceeding. Individuals who would like to participate remotely,should register any
time after the agenda is posted on the County website which is 6 days before the meeting

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 1 7 C
Notice is hereby given that-a public hearing will be held by the Collier County Board of County
Commissioners on April 13th,2021, in the Board of County Commissioners Meeting Room,
Third Floor, Collier Government Center,3299 East Tamiami Trail, Naples FL.,where the Board
of County Commissioners (BCC) will consider the enactment of a County Resolution. The
meeting will commence at 9:00 A.M.The title of the proposed Resolution is as follows:
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY,
FLORIDA, RENAMING A STREET FROM THE LORDS WAY TO HACIENDA LAKES PARKWAY,
LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 2,500 FEET NORTH OF RATTLESNAKE HAMMOCK ROAD AND
EAST OF COLLIER BOULEVARD, IN SECTION 14,TOWNSHIP 50 SOUTH, RANGE 26 EAST,
COLLIER COUNTY,FLORIDA.[PL202000024501

A copy of the proposed Resolution is on file with the Clerk to the Board and is available for
inspection. All interested parties are invited to attend and be heard.
NOTE:All persons wishing to speak on any agenda item must register with the County manager
prior to presentation of the agenda item to be addressed. Individual speakers will be limited
to 3 minutes on any item. The selection of any individual to speak on behalf of an organization
or group is encouraged. If recognized by the Chairman, a spokesperson for a group or
organization may be allotted 10 minutes to speak on an item.
Persons wishing to have written or graphic materials included in the Board agenda packets
must submit said material a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the respective public hearing. In
any case, written materials intended to be considered by the Board shall be submitted to the
appropriate County staff a minimum of seven days prior to the public hearing.All materials used
in presentations before the Board will become a permanent part of the record.
As part of an ongoing initiative to promote social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic,
the public will have the opportunity to provide public comments remotely,as well as in person,
during this proceeding. Individuals who would like to participate remotely, should register any
time after the agenda is posted on the County website which is 6 days before the meeting
through the link provided on the front page of the County website at wwwcplliereQujjyfl..gv.
Individuals who register will receive an email in advance of the public hearing detailing how they
can participate remotely in this meeting. For additional information about the meeting, please

Any person who decides to appeal any decision of the Board will need a record of the
proceedings pertaining thereto and therefore, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of
the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the
appeal is based.

A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA,
RENAMING A STREET FROM THE LORDS WAY TO
HACIENDA LAKES PARKWAY, LOCATED
APPROXIMATELY 2,500 FEET NORTH OF
RATTLESNAKE HAMMOCK ROAD AND EAST OF
COLLIER BOULEVARD, IN SECTION 14, TOWNSHIP 50
SOUTH, RANGE 26 EAST, COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA.

WHEREAS, the legislature of the State of Florida by enacting § 336.05, Florida Statutes,
has conferred on all counties in Florida the power to name or rename streets and roads, except
for certain state roads; and
WHEREAS, Collier County pursuant thereto has adopted Collier County Ordinance
No. 07-62, as codified in Chapter 22, Article X, of the Collier County Code of Laws and
Ordinances, which establishes criteria and procedures to rename streets or roads; and
WHEREAS, the Collier County Board of County Commissioners (Board) has held a
public hearing after providing notice as required by said ordinance and has considered the
advisability of granting the request by Fred Drovdlic, AICP of Waldrop Engineering, P.A., on
behalf of Hacienda Lakes of Naples, LLC, Lords Way 30, LLC, 3805 TLW, LLC, and Lords
Way Apartments, LLC, to rename a street from The Lords Way to Hacienda Lakes Parkway.
This street is located in Section 14, Township 50 South, and Range 26 East, according to Collier
County Official Zoning Atlas Map Numbers 0614N and 0614S, with a portion existing within
Estilo Acres, according to the plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 65, Pages 69 through 71, of the
Official Records of Collier County, Florida, and further described in Exhibit"A" attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference; and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that all criteria set forth in Ordinance No. 07-62
has been met and specifically finds that there is no other street in incorporated or unincorporated
Collier County with this name or any similar sounding name as is being requested; and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that it is necessary for identification purposes to
confirm the name of this street.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA,that:
BE IT RESOLVED that effective this date, the name of the street described in the above
recitals is hereby changed from The Lords Way to Hacienda Lakes Parkway and is confirmed as
such.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be recorded in the Public Records of
Collier County, Florida, and noted upon the maps of the street and zoning atlases of Collier
County, and notations made on the referenced Plat.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second, and super majority vote of at least four
affirmative votes this 13thday of Apr11 , 2021.
