EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to authorize a budget amendment in the amount of $156,580, to reallocate
funds from Project Number 60102 (Gordon River) to Project Number 50186 (Goodette Road
Ditch Pilot Project), within the Stormwater Capital Fund, for the Goodlette Road Ditch Pilot
Project.
OBJECTIVE: To fund the completion of the Goodette Road Ditch Pilot Project from the Stormwater
cost center in the amount of $156,580 for Fiscal Year 2021 and authorize all necessary budget
amendments.
CONSIDERATIONS: Final completion of the Goodette Road Ditch improvement Pilot Project
includes the addition of a fence along the Goodlette Road west right of way line. Collier County
Stormwater Management Staff utilized contract 18-7475 “Fence Installation and Repair Services” to
request quotes from contractors capable of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and
supervision for the installation and repair of fences and gates for all Collier County owned and leased
properties to complete the pilot project.
FISCAL IMPACT: A budget amendment in the amount of $156.580 is needed to move funding from
Project Number 60102 to Project Number 50186 within Stormwater Capital Fund 325.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney, raises no legal
issues, and requires majority vote for approval. -JAK
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: Approval of this item is in accordance with the goals and
objectives of the Drainage Sub-element of the Growth Management Plan.
RECOMMENDATION: To authorize the necessary budget amendment, to transfer $156,580 from
Project Number 60102 to Project Number 50186 within Stormwater Capital Fund 325.
