A RESOLUTION APPOINTING GLENN E. WILT TO TIIE
COMMUNITY ADVISORY COUNCIL TO ACT AS
AD¥1SORY COUNCIL TO WASTE MANAGEMENT, INC.
OF FLORID& PURSUANT TO THE LANDFILL
OPERATION AGREEMENT DATED FEBRUARY 7, 1995.
WHEREAS, the Landfill Operation Agreement between Collier County and Waste
Management, Inc. of Florida provides that "[T]he Contractor shall establish a community
advisory council through which the Contractor shall communicate information, educate the
community and develop a community awareness program related to activities at thc
Facilities...;" and
WHEREAS, the Community Advisory Council shall be composed of seven members, six of
which shall be appointed by the Board of County Commissioners or its designee and one o£
which shall be appointed by thc Contractor; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on this Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Glenn E. Wilt is hereby
appointed to thc Community Advisory Council. This Council is a contractual council which is
not governed by the Board of County Commissioners under Collier County Ordinance No. 86-
41, as amended.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
