EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve the submittal of the attached Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
Airport Coronavirus Response Grant Program (ACRGP) grant applications to request eligible
funds under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (Public Law
116-260) (CRRSAA) in the amount of $23,000 for the Marco Island Executive Airport (MKY) and
$13,000 for the Immokalee Regional Airport (IMM).
OBJECTIVE: To submit grant applications to the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Aiport
Coronavirus Response Grant Program (ACRGP) to request eligible funds under the Coronavirus Response
and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act for the Marco Island Executive Airport and Immokalee
Regional Airport.
CONSIDERATIONS: The FAA determined that the Marco Island Executive Airport and the
Immokalee Regional Airports are eligible for funds under the Coronavirus Response and Relief
Supplemental Appropriations Act for costs related to operations, personnel, cleaning, sanitation,
janitorial services, combating the spread of pathogens at the airport and debt service payments.
The final application is due to the FAA by June 30, 2021.
The Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) (Public Law 116-
260) signed into law by the President on December 27, 2020, includes nearly $2 billion in funds to be
awarded as economic relief to eligible U.S. airports and eligible concessions at those airports to prevent,
prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
FISCAL IMPACT: Should the grant be awarded, budget amendments will be necessary to recognize
grant revenue within the Airport Grant Fund (498). There is no match required.
The Airport Authority anticipates receiving FAA ACRGP funding totaling $36,000.

GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with the
Board’s approval to submit this grant application.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item is approved for form and legality, and requires a majority
vote for Board action. -JAB
