EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to accept and appropriate a Fidelity Charitable Donor-Advised Fund grant of
$100 to support the Collier County Public Library, and authorize the necessary Budget
Amendment.
OBJECTIVE: To accept and appropriate a Fidelity Charitable Donor-Advised Fund grant for the general
support of the Collier County Public Library.
CONSIDERATIONS: In December 2020, Fidelity Charitable advised the Collier County Public Library
that a Fidelity Charitable Donor-Advised Fund grant in the amount of $100 was awarded at the
recommendation of the Kirsch McLaughlin Trust. The donor recommends the grant be used in support of
the library.
FISCAL IMPACT: A Budget Amendment is needed to appropriate the $100 grant within the Library’s
Public Services Grant Fund 709, Project 33610. There is no requirement for a County match.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item is approved for form and legality and requires a majority vote
for Board action. - JAB
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management impact resulting from this
action.
RECOMMENDATION: To accept and appropriate a Fidelity Charitable Donor-Advised Fund grant of
$100 to support the Collier County Public Library, and authorize the necessary Budget Amendment.
