RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 183
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
PROVIDING FOR ASSESSMENT OF LIEN. FOR TilE COST OF
THE ABATEMENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCE. IN ACCORDANCE
WITH ORDINANCE 91-47.
WHEREAS. ~s provid~d in Orrhni)nr-:..~ r,l 47, th~~ dir~(:t costs of
abate~~nt cf c~rtain nuisanc~5. inc:'Jding pr~scrib~d administrative
cost lncurr~d by th~ C~unty, shall L~ ass~ss~d dgainst such prop~rty;
and
~HEREhS. th~ cost thereof to the County as to each parcel shall b~
calc~:~:~~ a~d r~ported to the Board of County Commissioners, t0geth~r
with a d~scription of said parcel; and
WHEREAS. such assessment shall b~ a l~gal, valid and binding
obligation upon the property against which made until paid; and
WHEREAS, t~~ assessment shall become due and payable thirty ()O)
days a::~r th~ ~ailing of Notice of Assessment after which interest
shall ~c==~~ a: a rate of twelve percent :12,0\: p~r annum on any
unpaid p0rtion thereof.
N~W. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY. FLORIDA. that th~ property described
as fc~:~ws, and having been abated of a public nuisance after due and
prcpe~ fio:~ce thereof to the owner of said property, is hereby assess~d
the fo:low~~g costs of such abatement. to wit;

according to law, unless such direction is stay~d by this Board upon
appeal of the assessment of the owner.
