EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve and authorize the Chairman to sign a Collier County
Landscape Maintenance Agreement (“Agreement”) between Collier County and Founders
Square Umbrella Association, Inc., for landscape and irrigation improvements within the
intersection of Collier Boulevard and Immokalee Road public right-of-way.

OBJECTIVE: That the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approves and authorizes the Chairman
to sign the attached Collier County Landscape Maintenance Agreement permitting landscaping and
irrigation improvements within the County right-of-way and ensuring that Founders Square Umbrella
Association, Inc., will maintain improvements accordingly.
CONSIDERATIONS: Collier County was approached by Founders Square Umbrella Association, Inc.
to install landscaping and irrigation at the intersection of Collier Boulevard and Immokalee Road public
right-of-way. Pursuant to the attached Landscape Maintenance Agreement, the Founders Square Umbrella
Association, Inc. agrees to maintain the landscaping and irrigation improvements along Collier Boulevard
and Immokalee Road, as depicted in Schedule A and in accordance with the specifications in Schedule B.
Rights to terminate the Agreement are spelled out in the attached Agreement.
FISCAL IMPACT: There is no cost to Collier County associated with this proposal. The Founders
Square Umbrella Association, Inc. is responsible for all recording fees.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this

LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney, is approved as to
form and legality, and requires majority vote for approval. -DDP
RECOMMENDATION: To sign a Collier County Landscape Maintenance Agreement between Collier
County and Founders Square Umbrella Association, Inc., for landscaping and irrigation improvements
within the intersection of Collier Boulevard and Immokalee Road public right-of-way.
