EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to authorize execution of the budget amendment for $450,000 to recognize
carryforward for Fund (602) Confiscated Trust Fund into FY2021 budget.
OBJECTIVE: To authorize execution of the budget amendment for $450,000 for carryforward funds
for Fund (602) Confiscated Trust Fund.
CONSIDERATIONS: Revenue in the amount $450,000 was received at the end of FY2020 that was
intended for FY2021. The Collier County Sheriff's Office needs to add carryforward funds into the
current FY2021 Fund (602) Confiscated Trust Fund budget.
FISCAL IMPACT: A budget amendment for $450,000 is needed to recognize Carryforward and
increase Expenses to be able to use Fund (602) Confiscated Trust Fund. The source of funding is from
revenue received in FY2020.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this
request.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney, raises no legal
issues, and requires majority vote for approval. -JAK
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners authorize execution of the budget
amendment for the carryforward funds under Fund (602) Confiscated Trust Fund.
