PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, Trinity Life Foundation Incorporated - Naples Florida, a 501(c)(3) charitable
organization, was founded on the principle of making a difference for at-risk
minority children in Collier County; and
WHEREAS, Trinity Life Foundation acts as a provider between the Juvenile Justice System
and local agencies who provide support systems for at-risk children in our
community; and
WHEREAS, Collier County honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the established national
holiday in his recognition on the third Monday of January, to commemorate the
life and achievements of the influential American civil rights leader; and
WHEREAS, Trinity Life Foundation established the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer
Breakfast in 2020, the first recognized event of such in Collier County, in
further celebration of the works of Dr. King; and
WHEREAS, the second annual celebration, January 15, 2021, will commemorate the Dr.
Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer Breakfast as a premier annual event, the
proceeds of which will go towards supporting the mission of Trinity Life
Foundation; and
WHEREAS, Collier County wishes to congratulate Trinity Life Foundation on its second year
of recognizing the efforts and advancements of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it proclaimed by the Board of County Commissioners of Collier
County, Florida, that January 15, 2021, be designated as
DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. PRAYER BREAKFAST DAY
IN COLLIER COUNTY
