A. Recommendation to evaluate quotations from qualified executive search
firms and finalize the process to be used to recruit candidates to fill the
forthcoming County Manager vacancy. (All Districts)
Motion to approve Option #2 and allowing the position to be open for
30 to no longer than 60 days with a review at the first meeting in
February, 2021; two commissioners to serve on a Subcommittee for the
review of applicants with staff—Approved 3/2 (Commissioner Saunders
and Commissioner Solis opposed)

Motion appointing Commissioner LoCastro and Commissioner
McDaniel to the Subcommittee to review applications for the County
Manager position and bring back a report to the Board at the first
meeting in February 2021 — Consensus
B. Recommendation to provide direction on a date, time and location for
holding a Public Hearing regarding the upcoming One Naples Small Scale
Growth Management Plan Amendment application and companion Rezone
Petition. (All Districts)
Motion that the Boardroom be the location for the public hearing—
Approved 3/2 (Commissioner LoCastro and Commissioner Taylor
opposed);
Motion that the meeting be held March 1st, 2021 and March 2nd, 2021
as an additional date if needed —Approved 5/0
